What's currently in the carboys?

Our carboys (fermentation vessels) each have a name instead of a number for fun logbook purposes. Below are all the vessels that live at the meadery, and what's currently in them.

An asterisk next to a name indicates that someone has sponsored that carboy and named it during a previous fundraiser opportunity. If a sponsored carboy is used for the final aging out of a batch, the sponsor is entitled to reserve in advance two bottles from that batch before they are offered for sale to the general public. Sponsors, please keep an eye on your carboys and let us know whether you want to reserve your bottles.

Note that batches undergo an initial (primary) fermentation, then a secondary fermentation, and then an aging process. During the aging process they may be racked several times. This means that batches move from carboy to carboy until the final aging out (resting) before bottling. This means a batch started in 'your' carboy may not necessarily end up aging out there.

As we grow, we will purchase more carboys from time to time. When we do, we will announce this on the website as well as our facebook page and give the public the chance to name them.
